Funny! Just about a year ago, on June 22, 2012, I used the song “Somebody Like You” by Keith Urban as my song of the day. It was the song I used during “country” week at camp, and it was a song I had just discovered on Youtube. Well, here we are one year later, and I have learned the song to play on guitar and will teach it to school-aged campers today as we begin day #1 of summer camp!
Every summer, I learn new music to teach, and this is my first one of those songs for the summer. I am so excited! I love getting children and camp staff to love a song I’m into. I know this will be something we sing all summer long, and I am envisioning how good it will sound.
