Sometimes I Wanna Scream, but Instead..

Do you guys ever get a super stroke of stress irritation? I definitely do. I will seriously be totally fine, and then in a matter of second I am either overwhelmed and insanely irritated. I realize that this is one of my characteristics. I am always trying to battle it. For instance today at work, I am totally in a great mood banging out some productivity, and a certain brother/coworker (sorry you’ll probably read this) made me so angry. Over something stupid… the placement of a printer, only with your brother right? One of the joys when working with your family. Anyway I know that I am sensitive and I will hold onto things. I try really hard to not too explode and turn this into a catty sibling fight. Because seriously all I want to do is freak the hell out and go back to when we were 6 and 7 and pull his hair and punch him in the back with a lollipop in my other hand probably. I bet a lollipop would totally relieve any irritation.

I decided to start taking notes of how I can calm myself down and relax NOT react. Otherwise I shut down. I stop talking to anyone to make it obvious that I am irritated/ childish. Also I am known to be a cryer. I really just want to cry all the time… happy or sad but definitely when I am irritated. In my world crying solves pretty much everything. It can be looked down upon when you are at work, fighting with your brother over a stupid printer. (I already hate that printer - look at all the anguish it has caused me )

These are my stress/anger releasers for when I get mad in the work place or anywhere :)

1. Breathe Deep and Don’t Retaliate This is big for me, I always want to keep the argument going to prove that I am clearly right.

2. I immediately have to vent – Venting has always been a big part of my release system I always email the hubs, because writing it down makes me realize that sometimes it’s not a big deal. Like not at all.

3. Take a minute to do something you enjoy – {Don’t tell your boss I told you to do this} Pinterest, Facebook, Blog.. don’t take hours, just 5 minutes. It helps get your mind off why you’re irrationally irritated.

4.Forget about it – Don’t let something silly ruin your day or even your hour. It’s totally not worth it.

Do you guys ever get super irrupted at work or anywhere that you need to calm down – What do you do that helps? I am serious when asking this, I always need advice. I am a mess.

Proof That I am also happy sometimes :)
