One thing I love about being in Wine Country is the proximity of the area wineries, but also, I get to see how they deck out for the holidays. Over in Sonoma Valley, every December, area wineries partake in the annual Gingerbread House Contest where each winery participating creates their own Gingerbread House. People are encouraged to vote when they visit the winery, but they can also vote online through December 30th (my birthday, hooray!).
The last few weeks, for those that have been following me on Twitter and Instagram, you may have noticed the Gingerbread photos I’ve been taking. Well, I thought I’d put all the contestants together in one post. 12 Wineries altogether:
