My blog is six today, Boy Two a week or so ago, and Soreen has been making malt loaf for 75 years.
But instead of making a special loaf with diamond in it - sparkly but bad for your teeth - they've done a special chocolate malt loaf with chocolate chips. Oh yes.
And boy have they done it with chocolate. The malt loaf still has that fantastic chewy, gumminess of traditional Soreen, but it also is jam packed with rich chocolate. The inside is gooey and delicious, almost with a quality of mousse.
I guarantee that this will hit the nail on the head of any chocolate craving that might be passing. Honestly.
I won't however pretend this is a healthy option. Sure, the packaging says 95 calories - per eighth of a loaf! It's impossible to stop there.
It is delicious and fabulous and even those, heaven forfend, who claim not to like Soreen will love this.
But you'll have to be quick. Chocolate Soreen is available in Asda for just six weeks and in Morrisons from 20 May for three weeks. It may be available in other stores, but this is not yet confirmed. It costs £1 and when it's gone, it's gone!
For more information about this and Soreen's other tasty products, follow them on Twitter @SoreenHQ or on facebook. There's also the Soreen website.
I am being paid to talk about Soreen as part of a campaign by Mumpanel. This doesn't make it any less delicious though.
