Dubbed "An Explosion of Colours," Sotheby's Hong Kong Magnificent Jewels and Jadeite Spring Sale highlights fancy vivid blue and pink diamonds. On April 3, 2012, an 8.01-carat emerald-cut fancy vivid blue diamond will lead Sotheby's sale. The blue diamond ring is expected to fetch between $11.5 and $14 million and is considered the largest emerald-cut vivid blue to appear at auction for several years.
