Soul Saturdays: Can You Make a List of Ten Things You Love About Your Job? I Can!

I love my job. I mean, I REALLY love my job. Sure, there is tons of stress when it comes to staying organized, being my own accountant, and keeping track of queries sent, article and book ideas, money matters...but I LOVE writing as a career, and I miss it when I get really busy and don't get to spend 8, 10, sometimes 12 solid hours doing "work." The past few days, I have only average about four hours of "work" each day at my computer. But, the beauty of writing is that every interaction, experience, really every waking moment, is an opportunity for a brilliant, groundbreaking, game-changing idea.
I love...
connecting with other writers and creatives.
writing my blog posts.
writing my weekly music column.
writing articles about dining and nightlife.
brainstorming magazine article ideas (but I don't love waiting to hear if it's a go or no).
writing my novel (although I am struggling right now with finishing my second draft much more than I did plowing through 50,000 words in 17 days).
seeing my byline in print and online.
continuing my writing education by reading.
waking up hopeful each morning that something exciting is in my email inbox.
being in charge of my own daily schedule.

Can you come up with at least ten things you love about your job? If you can't, don't you think you deserve to pursue a career that you can create a list at least this long? (I could probably go all the way to 100--maybe more!--but I won't do that to you dear readers!).
