Southern Girls Are a Joke.

That title is a little bit harsh, but let me tell you this story. I have a friend/ coworker. She started here about a month ago, and we work really closely. We get a long really well, and at one point my mom even decided she would adopt my new friend. She just moved here from South Carolina, about 7 months ago. She lived in this itty bitty town, and she claims that is why her accent is SO thick. It really is SO thick like molasses. She says things like buuuuuuye and whhhhhhhy, and she says "she was mashing buttons" or "Oh.. that made me so ill". You know only things that Southern people say. Obviously.
Anyway you get the point.. She's southern. 
Well this morning, I decided she has a leg up in this world, because of it. No matter what she says, it can be sassy and catty and it comes across so adorable because of her accent. The story is that a customer called us. I talked to her first and the lady was so angry at Bihareh (Oh.. yeah her name is Iranian), not even mad at me. I was trying so hard to help her, and work with her to make her happy. I was able to diffuse her a bit, but when she got off the phone she was still pretty angry and I was working out how to help her. Bihareh decided to call her back, since it was originally her mistake, which should have made the lady more mad right?? Well Bihareh called her back with her big thick accent and that's right, the customer LOVED her! Not joking, she even called her honey on the phone, and told her not to worry about. UHHH! [Bihareh and I were cheerleader for our company on Halloween - last minute costume..]
What is so charming about her Southern Draw??
