It’s the season to be jolly and if you ask me it’s the season to sparkle and glitter. There cannot be enough glitter, right? This year I have gone glitter mad when wrapping my presents and of course when decorating my Christmas tree. Glittering birds, glittering Christmas ornaments, glittering Christmas cards, glittering ribbon (now that was a find!) and even loose glitter. Do I need to go on? I live in a glittertastic Christmas Wonderland! So you can believe that I was super excited to find a cocktail for this Christmas party season that glitters - the J20 Glitter Ball! The name says it all – it’s a glitterriffic Christmas Cocktail. Not to talk about for the New Year’s Eve party!

A couple of weeks ago we brought to your attention the Glitter Berry Juice Drink from J20. At that time I discovered that J20 had created a cocktail that was calling my name – the J20 Glitter Ball. A cocktail called Glitter Ball – how can you not want to taste it? It sounds to me like you should be at Studio 54 boogieing the night away in your glittertastic outfit and with the lights reflecting from mirror balls. Woo-hoo!

After making a mental note then I have now tasted the J20 Glitter Ball Cocktail. It’s berrylicious! The J20 Glitter Ball Cocktail is made with the J20 Glitter Berry juice drink (which brings the glitter effect) and one of my all-time favorite liqueurs – Amaretto Disaronno. These two ingredients compliment each other perfectly.

All you need for Christmas is J20 Glitter Ball and all you need for J20 Glitter Ball is J20 Glitter Berry, Amaretto and ice. How to garnish this glittering Christmas drink is up to you. Use a lime wedge, use a lime peel swirl or just enjoy it au naturel. Just remember to turn on the Christmas lights and make enough of the J20 Glitter Ball Cocktails for everybody as they will go fast. Or if you want to go the easy way just walk to your closest drinking establishment (aka club, bar, pub or restaurant) and order one. Maybe this will happen…

The J20 Glitter Berry is super easy to make at home. Just follow these easy steps:
First get a glass. Pour 5 cl of Amaretto into it. Add ice.

Shake the Glitter Berry bottle until the glitter is completely mixed with the juice. Then pour on top of the Amaretto and ice. You can use the whole bottle of Glitter Berry to make it a long drink or go half-way as I did and only use half of the Glitter Berry. I like my Glitter Ball Cocktail with a bit more Amaretto taste in it. Do a couple of test runs (but remember to drink responsibly!) to see if you want to add all the glittering goodness or make two Glitter Ball Cocktails out of one Glitter Berry juice drink.

Garnish with a swirl of lime peel (or anyway you want). And voila – you now have a glittering cocktail! Doesn’t it look fab with all that shimmering glitter?!

If you are not familiar with Amaretto Disaronno, it’s an Italian liqueur made from a secret recipe from secret ingredients. Those Italians are so secretive! To me it tastes a lot like almonds and it’s divine. It’s easily my favorite liqueur! J20 Glitter Berry is a non-alcoholic juice drink made with 32% of grape and cherry juices and winter spices. It sparkles with edible glitter and has a reduced calorie and sugar content. Is mixing these two a match made in heaven? I think so!

Let’s glitter away this Christmas with J20 Glitter Ball Cocktails!
