It was a genuine surprise and honor when Shaina Smith of the U.S Pain Foundation contacted me to be their February Pain Ambassador of the Month! When I started this blog so many moons ago I never imagined that I would meet so many inspiring individuals from all around the globe who are living a journey of chronic pain.

When given the chance to work with the U.S Pain Foundation as an ambassador for chronic pain awareness, advocacy, and support I jumped at the opportunity. I feel blessed and fortunate to have a voice, a niche, and a place to share my life and experiences with the hope that my journey can be an inspiration to just one person to keep on going and to never give up despite the life changing effects of fibromyalgia and so many other chronic pain conditions.

Most days I don’t feel very triumphant or that my small steps are making that much of a difference. This blog is a place for me to vent, ramble, and share. There are so many people doing so much more with so much less. Still I am grateful for every single day and what I can do. It is still hard for me to fathom anyone taking a look at this blog much less recognizing it. This recognition from US Pain couldn’t have come at a better time moving me to continue to share, push forward and try to live as full of a life as genuinely possible even with chronic pain and fatigue.

If you live with chronic pain or know someone who does click the links below to learn how you can join the movement yourself or get assistance and support on your journey through the US Pain Foundation!
