Everything was heading in a downward spiral and he was the only one to blame. He choose to take the path covered in poison thorns and weeds. He choose to push away the people who cared for him. He could feel himself reaching the bottom end of the spiral.
However, the end of the spiral might not be so bad. It would only mean his spiral could go up, heading towards the life he once had, the life he loved. He could apologize and join the people who gave his life meaning. He would take the right path this time.
