Spring Face

Happy first day of April!
Spring is the perfect time to update your beauty routine and to lighten-up your winter look.
Sometimes it's as simple as using less products than what you normally wear in the winter, other times you have to use lighter (sheer) beauty products, but most of the time, spring bareface makeup means using a lighter hand when applying the essentials.

Being that my skin didn't suffer the after effects of the winter (thanks to the mild winter in Los Angeles, and my absolutely FAB skincare routine), I feel confident to go sans foundation, but still cover under eye dark circles, skin hyper pigmentation and skin scaring.
To take care of those pesky imperfections, I wear an under eye concealer, eye base and concealer under translucent powder. Then I add a handful of beauty products for my everyday casual day-time (nude makeup face) look.
With a ten-minute investment, this routine keeps me looking polished even with my crazy busy lifestyle.
While my face glows and really shows, Instead of wearing something heavy on my face as the days warm up, my beauty products dont pile up and make me look masked.
Now I'm confident to go from school to running errands around the Westside, to meeting friends for lunch or coffee!
The list of products I'm using are:

Eyes
Eyebrows:  Sumita Eye Pencil in Medium
Eyeliner: Sephora Waterproof Eyeliner in Black
Eye Primer: Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Peach
Mascara: Laura Mercier Faux Lash Mascara in Black
Under eye concealer: Cover Girl + Olay Under Eye Concealer (no longer available)
Face
Concealer: Cover FX in N Medium
Powder: Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder
Blush: Lancome Blush Subtil in Rose Romantique
Lips: Laura Mercier Paint Wash Liquid Lip Color in Coral Reef
This bareface natural look takes less than ten minutes to apply, and lasts all day with reapplication of the lip gloss and light powder on my t-zone.
Hope my nude makeup spring look inspires you to change-up your beauty routine this spring.
