Start Your Engines: Bus Fleet Prepped for Upcoming School Year

Crews at the Jackson-Madison County Schools bus garage are preparing the district’s fleet of buses to begin running their routes on Friday.

“We tightened up some routes at South, Pope and Thelma Barker elementary schools,” Ward said. “We did that because we had growth in ridership with our city routes. So there will be new routes at Jackson Careers and Technology, Arlington and Andrew Jackson elementary schools.”
