Summer is finally here, and with it…comes delicious on a BBQ. This is one of my favorite ways to eat on a hot summer night.
What you need:
- 2 small sirloin or rib steaks
- 10-15 baby potatoes (pre boiled for about 5 minutes)
- small package grape tomatoes
- 10 mushrooms
- 3 slices fresh pineapple
- 1 green pepper
- soaked skewers
- CattleBoyZ bbq sauce
- grape seed oil
What you do:
Take about 15 skewers and soak them in water for at least an hour.
Pre-boil your baby potatoes, for five minutes at the most.
Chop up all meat, place your chopped steak in a bowl and add about 1/2 cup of CattleBoyZ BBQ Sauce.
I also put my peppers in sauce, separately from the meat of course :) Let both of these sit in sauce for at least 30 minutes.
Take skewers out of water and start the kebob by using a piece of the green pepper. I try and turn it so it is a cup that holds the next piece on, this works great to keep kebobs on once barbecuing.
Add your assorted chopped food. Finish off with another pepper.
You should have enough to make about 15 kebobs.
Once you have this…
Start the BBQ!!!!!
I cooked them on a medium heat…
Brush the grill with grape seed oil…it makes it way easier, just trust me here.
Take some extra CattleBoyZ and marinate the whole skewer before you put it on the grill. Don’t miss this step, it is delicious and you really have to do it…
Cook for approximately 15-20 minutes.
Devour.
(Be careful with the tomatoes, you will totally burn your face off…just saying.)
We had some nice fresh corn on the cob as well…with a beverage. Well this was my beverage…
- 1 shot Russian Standard Vodka
- 1 1/2 cups Reg Grapefruit juice
- Ice…lots of ice
Here’s to good eating and summertime…xoxo
