There is no doubt that Steve Jobs and Bill Gates are one of the two best known individuals in the planet. One alive (Bill), and one who recently passed away (Steve). Both great and unique to its own characters. Steve, known to be the innovative technological guru, while Bill is more the technical and practical master.
As the purpose of this posting is not to describe each of their lives, my idea was to put more emphasis on their legacies, and the way the world will look at them in future years.
Bill Gates lead the empire of the PC revolution by creating the most widely used and successful operating system: Windows. Nowadays, while it continues to be relevant to the technology world, it stopped gaining that momentum that it used to enjoy. Since Bill stepped out as CEO of Microsoft, the company began to move towards a different path.
On the other hand, Steve Jobs left a legacy that is hard to fully describe. It created a new spark in the world, not only technologically, but in its whole. Lives of millions of individuals were somehow impacted by one or another of Steve’s creations.
The idea here is to just explain that these two characters were and will continue to be great leaders to the technology world. Both, for their previous contributions and for the teachings. Steve Jobs left the world with far more than great teachings and ideals and Bill Gates continues to enhance the world to a better living.
As we move along, the world will continue to learn from both of them, and await anxiously for a new character to be born. There is no doubt that, some day within this 21st century, a new individual will be born, and will bring knowledge and innovation that will improve the standards of livings of individuals around the world.
