Survey Says: Interview with the B's, Now and Way Back Then

I did this interview, which I think someone emailed to me or I saw on Facebook, back when Brailey was six and Britt was five. A good friend of mine (thank you, Lolo!) posted this on her Facebook earlier this spring, and so I interviewed my B's again. I intended to get this on the blog all summer long! Ironically, when I was looking for the questions to write my post, I found the original interview from nearly seven years ago. How fun! It was a great surprise! So I included their first answers, as six and five years olds, and their most recent answers, as eleven and thirteen year olds. I interviewed them separately, so the fact that some of their answers are the same is interesting. And I think I may have a problem with chocolate...
1. What is something mom always says to you?
Brailey 6: I love you. 13: You're my dream come true.
Britt 5: I love you all the way to heaven and back a million times and more! 11: I love you all the way to heaven and back a million times and more!
2. What makes mom happy?
Brailey 6: When I kiss you. 13: Chocolate.
Britt 5: When I give you a kiss and hug. 11: Chocolate.
3. What makes mom sad?
Brailey 6: When Daddy hurts your feelings. 13: When you don't have your chocolate and when Roman Reigns loses (wrestling matches).
Britt 5: When I don’t give you a kiss and hug. 11: Not having enough chocolate.
4. How does your mom make you laugh?
Brailey 6: Tickle me! 13: When you imitate WWE Superstars.
Britt 5: Ask funny things. 11: When you imitate Simon the spy from True Lies.
5. What did your mom like to do as a child?
Brailey 6: You played with your Barbies. 13: I don't know, I wasn't born then. You said you were chubby.
Britt 5: I don’t know! 11: I don't know. I was never there.
6. How old is your mom?
Brailey 6: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh… I don’t know. I think it’s 37. (I said WHAT?! You’re supposed to say 29!) Mom, that’s the real answer! (She meant the 37…) 13: 42?

7. How tall is your mom?
Brailey 6: I think you’re about 5 feet, no 4 feet, no 3, no 2, no 2 inches… I think the answer is 2 feet. 13: 5'6"

8. What is her favorite thing to watch on TV? (6 & 5)

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for?
Brailey 6: Uh, what’s that mean? You would probably be rich and have a bunch of guitars.13: Ali Dee Collection.
Britt 5: Movie star! 11: A TV show about our life.
11. What is your mom really good at?
Brailey 6: Riding your horse, because you barrel race really well. I want to be like you. 13: Typing.
Britt 5: Your computer! 11: Eating chocolate. Just kidding! Being a mom.
12. What is your mom not very good at?
Brailey 6: Drawing. You don’t draw as good as me. You only draw good crosses and hearts. I’m sorry, Mom…! 13: Cooking.

Brailey 6: You work at JP Associates. 13: Take care of Britt and I and then call stores and ask them if they want Ali Dee Collection and then write a newsletter for JP.

Brailey 6: Chocolate! 13: Chocolate and Dad's steaks on Christmas.

Brailey 6: I think what makes me proud of you is that you’re always giving lots of happiness to Britt and I. 13: That you're an Ali Dee manager person.

Brailey 6: YOU are better at riding horses than me and I’m learning how to ride horses. 13: I go to school and you don't.

Brailey 6: He ropes really well and he keeps the roof on our heads. 13: That he takes care of us.
