Lately, I have been learning to treasure the sweet moments. Those tiny capsules of time where the unexpected happen, those great conversations come out, laughter, and most of all love. This photoshoot was such a sweet moment with Sam. I just asked him if he minded taking picture of me really quick as it was freezing cold outside. However, what came out were some fantastic pictures, all because there was a person behind the camera.
There is a lot of changing that has been going on in my life and around me. It is good to be reminded of the sweetness of life. That it has an ebb and flow, and to treasure the time I spend. Monday night, a sweet moment happened. A terrible storm blew through Nashville on Monday, torrential rains, damaging winds.... a lot of people were without power. It was my friend Katherine's birthday and she invited us to go eat Korean food. The shops along the street were completely dark, every block, except the one we needed. However, towards the end of our meal, the power went out and we had to finish in the dark. It was great though! We all ate by candle light, just sharing stories and laughing.
I am thankful for life lived together well, and my hope is to love well too.
