Well then, good news, your dream vacation destination is coming soon. Forget the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The latest and greatest theme park inspired by a pop culture icon is Angry Birds Land.
Okay, so it’s the Angry Birds themed portion of everyone’s favorite Finnish theme park Särkänniemi Adventure Park.
The park opens April 28th, and will feature a variety of fun and entertainment (details are still under wraps). And according to park officials the parks goal is to, “motivate the fans, both adults and children, to exercise and enjoy the outdoors.”
And why shouldn’t it be? That is after all the goal of the original game for smartphones, to motivate and exercise…our thumbs, and I’m sure someone, somewhere has played it outdoors.
Well, maybe this will balance out all that time spent battling those evil pigs from the great indoors.
Now those of us on the other side of the pond will have to figure out where Finland is.
