Sean Landers is a talented American artist and painter, who was born in 1962 and currently based in New York. Since the 1990s Landers has produced a diverse body of paintings, sculptures, drawings, and videos that, regardless of form or style, bares the artist to the world. Sean paints stunning depicting North American mammals covered with Scottish tartan fur or skin. Landers' work was inspired by 1940s paintings known as “Vache” by René Magritte in which tartan and Scottish designs played a significant part.
