Tea-Bagging Move Out

Posted on the 20 May 2013 by Missliabilities
Roommate moved out on Saturday while I was getting my hair cut. I didn't even say goodbye! In part I am thankful that he let me stay at the house for ten months when I suddenly moved to Pennsylvania. I had thought that he would be moving out by December and I would take over the lease but he clung on to the very end. He was a nice guy when it came to not living with him and maybe we'll have him over sometime soon. After wounds have healed.
I am very annoyed that he didn't clean up his room when he left. He's actually never swept or mopped the wood floors of his room in the year he has lived there. On Sunday morning I walked through it and then looked at my bare feet, they were black from the dirt and dust. The windows had never been cleaned. There were cobwebs in the corner. I owe him almost $800 to take over his deposit, yet I'm thinking of deducting off $100 for cleaning and for the glass pan he mistakenly took.
In the 24 hours since he's been gone, we have taken over the house. We hung up my pictures and mirrors that were collecting dust. We have enough room for two night stands in the bedroom now that M's desk is in our new "office". I did a lap around the upstairs naked this morning, simply because I can. Freedom!
I have this irrational fear that Roommate will throw a kegger in our basement in the next 11 days that he's still on the lease. He will definitely be back since he needs to return our keys and get the vacuum he never used. M claims that some steak knives are missing along with my pan but at this point I really don't want to throw a fit over them. After cleaning out the kitchen we found the parting gifts Roommate had left: eggs! barbecue sauce! and a box of tea bags.
When I found the last item I couldn't stop laughing. The bastard left tea-bagging us!
