Mother teaches you to not to be naughty, mischievous; Sister teaches you not to play pranks; Brother teaches you to not to be bullied by others;But whether the days, or months or years pass-by; people of many sorts cross your life,
The lessons you learn from your TEACHERS become your LIFE LESSONS and teaches to dos and not to dos.

A 'GURU' is not just a Teacher, who teaches books but ONE WHO DISPERSES THE DARKNESS(according to Etymology) from your mind, from your knowledge acquired and from your life, throughout your life, in some or other way, directly or indirectly.
