I was recently given the opportunity to trial some Detox Tea in a 30 Days Detox Pack from Teami Blends.
For some time I'd been interested in trying some form of detox...or teatox as they're now commonly known... but was unsure of how to go about it. With so many companies and products available, making so many claims about the various benefits, I was confused about what would be best for me. I also have to admit to being sceptical of some of the health benefit claims made by some companies out there. So when Teami got in touch, I was excited but perhaps a little apprehensive...The idea that using two types of Teami herbal tea (Skinny and Colon) combined to detox my system and reduce bloating seemed very tempting of course but almost too simple to be true. I mean could it really be that easy?
Needless to say I was very excited when my Teami Blends Detox 30 days detox pack arrived. The pack consisted of two types of tea, 30 days supply of Teami Skinny and 15 days of Teami Colon Cleanse tea bags (these are to be used every second day) Also included were instructions and a very cute Pink diffuser, which is the perfect size for one cup at a time without wasting the Skinny tea.
The principal behind the 30 Day Plan is that a cup of Skinny blend tea is enjoyed every morning, with a cup of Colon Cleanse consumed every other evening for a period of 30 days.

The instructions were very simple to follow, and I started my detox plan the morning following the packs arrival.
The Skinny tea is loose leaf. Now this may fill some with dread as being time consuming to make and potentially messy, but the diffuser allows you to make a brew without fuss or mess. I'd like to add here that I am not the worlds biggest herbal tea drinker, and whilst I have tried some herbal teas in the past, I have found many flavours simply don't appeal to me so it was with some trepidation that I first tasted the skinny blend.
With past experiences in mind, I was very relieved to find how mild and enjoyable the Skinny Blend actually was. Although the instructions state honey or lemon may be added for flavor and sweetness, I found neither were needed and really enjoyed my morning Skinny brew!
The Teami Colon Cleanse blend come in a more traditional pyramid bag form. Whilst it is suggested that you drink a cup of warm water before consuming the Teami Colon to make it gentler on the stomach, I personally found I did not need to do so. The Teami Colon is very tasty although stronger in flavor than the Skinny, but was certainly not unpleasant.
The idea of a colon cleansing tea had me concerned that a laxative effect would occur, or that I may suffer some discomfort however this was not the case at all.
The Teami 30 Day Detox could not be simpler to follow. After having been on the plan for 30 days, I have lost a total of 5lbs without following any other diet plan and have reduced bloating. I feeler 'cleaner' inside, and I do feel that my energy levels have risen I feel that my complexion has also improved, too...of course its impossible to say whether these things are truly down to the use of the tea or not, but all I can say is that I was happy with the experience and I would definitely use the plan again.
