That's it. My baby girl, Shia, she is turning 2! Two freaking years old tomorrow. October 6th is her actual birth date. I remember when she turned 1, I felt so guilty, because she spent her first birthday overnight at the emergency vet clinic, repairing her ACL. Talk about puppy-mom guilt. I felt like the worst puppy mom in the world. I spoiled her rotten for the next.. well forever after her surgery, but that night sucked major league.

Tomorrow we have the whole day to celebrate our little girls birthday. Jared already promised me we could take her to the park, and let her run around like a goofball. I think that I am going to attempt to make a cake and take shia-attacks-cake pictures. My co-worker suggest neon frosting so it would make for awesome pictures. I am hoping to find some puppy safe recipes and get to bakin' tonight!
Is it silly that I really am SO excited to celebrate her birthday? I am going to wrap some presents and let her rip the boxes apart. She loves to do that. Every time we leave any box on the floor she has a hay day with it. Maybe I should just fill our whole house with boxes and let her tear them apart. I think that would be a good birthday for her. If you all want to wish her a happy birthday, I promise I will tell her!
