Happy Thankful Thursday!
I hope everyone has been having an excellent week thus far. It's getting even closer to the weekend, so I know that makes some of you shout with joy! It makes me too!
To keep the joyous momentum going, I want to list what I am thankful for. You should try it too. #perspective {that was for the hubs}. He literally says, "hashtag perspective" about 17 times a day. What a goof. But seriously, listing what is good in life can really outweigh the not so good at times.
Thankful for:
1 day left of grad school. I am completing my last assignments tonight, and I am home free! Mother's Day is on it's way and it reminds me just how precious and priceless mothers are. Mine for example, is stupendous and my little sis is becoming a mother very soon! We are all on the edge of our seats waiting for this precious new life to be born. My job is going swimmingly and it makes me really look at what I am passionate about. For now, its a great way to make connections, form relationships, and enjoy what little bit of college life I can! The weather has been amazing. Makes any day better. Prayers and faith being strengthened. I am not a general positive outlooker. I don't walk around like a Debbie Downer, but I tend to look at things realistically. If someone is on their deathbed, I assume they're going to die. If a storm is brewing, I assume its a tornado. I just always assume the worst. I can take the worst when it happens, but it shouldn't be counted on. A story about a local girl has my faith strengthened. I know and believe she can pull through. At this point, it looks grim. But I see it as hopeful.
What are you thankful for today?
