Today is Thursday which means it's time for Thankful Thursday. How much do you love these posts? Not really because of what I have to say, but because it gives you a brighter perspective on life. I have to remember to be thankful so that I can focus on the good. I don't know if I have shared this before, but I have suffered from anxiety in the past. It has certainly improved in recent months, but it made me feel so down and look at things so negatively. In the midst I started the Thankful Thursday to keep my mind occupied on what was happening in my world, rather than in my head. I realized I have a lot of good going on, and I need to give God some glory for it. If it weren't for Him, I wouldn't be here and I wouldn't have the blessings furnished to be daily. So let's get to it.
I am thankful for the preparations made for my parents before my dad unexpectedly lost his job a couple weeks back. I am thankful for my niece who has brought such joy to all of our lives and especially my parents during this time. I am thankful for friends and acquaintances who have purchased ALL of our furniture we've sold. I am thankful for opportunities that enable my husband and I to be in a better place financially. I am thankful to you, my readers, who inspire me to write everyday.
It feels good to be thankful and to focus on the wonderfulness that life brings!
