But I do plan on telling y'all (and showing, course) all about the concert! If you're new around here, let me catch you up...I love Luke Bryan. A lot. Okay, you're caught up.
I was lucky enough to watch him perform Saturday night and let me just tell you...amazing. I was really impressed with how interactive he was with the audience!
One of Adam's sisters & I got a hotel room near the venue (it was about an hour and a half away from where we live) for the night, and I'm a little embarrassed by how much we packed for that one night...but we had to look beautiful for Luke, you know? ;) What you see in that second picture is only about half of it. Whatever, judge us.
After we got ready we decided it would be a good idea to walk to the venue. That way we wouldn't have to deal with parking. Well that was a fail. We ended up getting lost and because of that we were late and missed Florida Georgia Line play...boo. And we had to take one of those weird bike taxis to the venue. Oh well..we were just excited to finally have made it!
Once we made it inside, we ran over to the shirt table and paid God knows how much for t-shirts. But Luke's face is plastered on them so it's totally worth it. Right? Right. Oh and by the way, I didn't trust myself brining my Nikon so you get to look at wonderful quality phone pictures. Sorry about that. But beer, big crowds & shameless dancing is not a good combination for my precious camera.
We made it to our seats, and the rest of the night was a a blur. We caught the last of Thompson Square, but we were so ready for Luke by then that we could care less...oops. We spent Luke's entire set shaking it like country girls & singing (and screaming) at the top of our lungs. It was glorious. But little tip: if you're gonna wear a cowgirl hat to a concert, plan on standing very still. Or you will lose it. More than once.
He played one of my favorite songs, Country Girl (Shake It For Me), and the best part was...he pulled two larger men up on stage to have a shake-off. It was hysterical. I like how he has fun with the song instead of actually having women up on stage gettin down. That picture right down there is Luke showing them how to properly shake it. Nothing like getting shaking lessons from Luke Bryan...seriously.
After the concert, we headed back to the hotel on the weird taxi bike. The entire time we were gushing over how incredible Luke was...imagine that. We passed out around 1:30 in the morning and woke up to a breakfast fit for champs. Or a breakfast fit for avoiding a hangover...however you want to look at it.
We made the drive home, windows down, singing Luke at the top of our lungs. Perfect end to a perfect night. Oh and because I didn't get any up close pictures of Luke, I found a good one on Google to share with y'all.

You're welcome. And in case you were wondering, my favorite Luke songs are: Country Girl (Shake It For Me), Do I, Doin' My Thing, Drunk On You, If You Ain't Here to Party, Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye, Every Time I See You, Muckalee Creek Water, All My Friends Say, Over the River, Rain Is a Good Thing, Someone Else Calling You Baby, Welcome to the Farm, Too Damn Young, You Make Me Want To, What Country Is, I Don't Want This Night to End...okay I'll stop now.
You better believe I'm wearing my concert shirt to work today...yes, I'm that girl. And I will most definitely be seeing him again. That, my friends, is a fact.
