The 8th Annual Artisan Cheese Festival!

Next weekend in Sonoma County the 8th Annual Artisan Cheese Festival will be taking place at the Sheraton Sonoma County in Petaluma. The weekend will be filled with scrumptious tastings, chef demonstrations and pairings along with educational sessions from top chefs, authors, cheese experts and more.

This fun event kicks off on Friday March 21st and goes through the entire weekend through March 23rd.

Just some of the events taking place over the weekend include:

Friday: 

Farm Tours and Lunches available for purchase.  Visit a local farmer or creamery and see first hand how the process of cheese truly begins then end with a wonderful lunch.

5pm to 7pm: Meet the Cheesemakers and their Cheeses:

Before the festivities fully take off during the weekend join in on Friday evening with an intimate meeting with the cheesemakers behind this event.  Get to know them personally and ask those questions you’ve been dying to know.

Saturday:

9:30am to 11:30am: Seminars, Cooking and Pairing Demos

12 to 1pm: Lunch for attendees by Petaluma Market

1:30 to 3:30pm: Continued Seminars, Cooking and Pairing Demos

6 to 9pm: Grand Tasting

Sunday:

9:30 to 12:30pm: Cooking Demo and Sparkling Wine Brunch

12 to 4pm: Artisan Cheese Tasting and Marketplace

A fun filled weekend of what you love: Cheese.  Tickets can be purchased for the various events taking place throughout the weekend when you visit the Artisan Cheese Festival site.  You’ll also see all of the participants in this year’s show.  See you there.
