The Best Bachelorette Party!

As everyone should know by now my friend, Kjerstin, is getting married and I am her Maid Of Honor. I was so happy when Kjerstin asked me to be her maid of honor, but I also was a bit nervous because I have never been one before. The last thing you want to be known as is a crappy Maid Of Honor. I know there are a lot of duties outside of just being an awesome wing woman that come along with being the MOH and one of those is hosting the bachelorette party. Kjerstin had a lot of fabulous ideas for the bachelorette party, but we decided to have a Slumber Party. She lives about 3 hours away from me and she had guests coming from all over the world, yeah she's that popular. Okay, all over Utah - but still! If you haven't been to one of these Slumber Parties before, they are also referred to as "sex toy parties". When I called the consultant that comes to your house and hosts the party I was pretty confident it would be fun. Karon was extremely outgoing, funny and an easy conversationalist. After we set the date, I was still nervous because this was my first Bachelorette Party and my first time hosting a Direct Sales consultant over to my home. Kinda funny how nervous I was, because I work for a Direct Sales company at the Home Office. Anyway as the day got closer I was getting nervous because I knew Karon would want sales and ultimately that is how you spoil Kjerstin is to get a lot of sales. I didn't want her Bachelorette Party to turn into a sales pitch.
I decorated the house really cute for the Bachelorette Party. I had some fun streamers, a food station and a drink station. I was able to only worry about decorations, finger foods like vegetables, little smokies, chips n dip and then the drinks. For our drink station we had Mimosas, Bloody mary's, Arnold Palmers,   and Apple Water.

The girls all got there between 7- 7:15 and I think we had 8 girls total, which I thought was a really good turn out. Karon was fabulous entertainment, she educated us on Sex ;), we played some fun games, there was lots of girls chatting, laughing and just having a blast! Luckily Slumber Parties doesn't only sell sex toys. They sell something for everyone. They have perfumes, shaving cremes, body mists, and other more sexual items too. Perfect spice added to a Bachelorette party! Everyone was able to buy anything for themselves, anything they'd like for Kjerstin and then we also built up "perks" that Kjerstin could use to get free items. She walked out SPOILED! She had so many fun goodies that we bought for her and that she was able to buy with her "credit".

Moral of the story is I wish I would have done this for my bachelorette party! It was so much fun and we could all spoil Kjerstin together!
