This is one of my all time favourite shots of grandparents taken at a wedding... and no more so than because it's taken on the dancefloor, during a silent disco!
Have you ever been to a silent disco? No? Then it's when all the guests on the dancefloor wear headphones, which pipe the dance music to the dancer, rather than it being played on speakers to the room in general. I admit, it sounds like a strange idea for a wedding... but the reality is that at this wedding, at the Tythe Barn in Pilton, Somerset, it worked BRILLIANTLY.
As you can see, guests of all ages found it irresistable....and I also know that this particular lady,who is the groom's grandmother, absolutely loves this shot, as do the rest of the family.
