What metaphors can you use the way Charlotte Bronte uses bird and a net to describe your freedom/lack of freedom?
In what ways have you, in the past, allowed nets to ensnare your writing?
What will you do to be sure your writing will not be caught in a net ever again?
What is your definition of freedom? Don’t just throw out the first thought that comes into your head, allow yourself the space to allow many aspects of freedom to show up for you. Using the lists might help you take your definition deeper.
Lists
Make a list of 5 – 10 ways you can create pockets of freedom in your day. For example, take a 5 minute break to put your (sunscreen covered) face to the sun and just soak it in.
Make a list of 2 to 10 times you have felt freedom in your body.
