I just wanted to post a quick word tonight expressing my thoughts and prayers to the victims, families, and spectators of the events that took place at the Boston Marathon. While events like this are always happening throughout our world, it just seems to hit us a little harder when it’s closer to home. I guess it just makes us realize how vulnerable we all really are. Whatever the reason, my thoughts are with you all.
Also, on a side note, I would like to extend my deepest thanks and respects to those who reacted to these events, whether it be the police, military, and emergency medical service men and women, or the spectators and marathon participants who rushed to help without a single thought of themselves, either in giving medical aid, therapeutic aid, or donating blood. Your efforts are much appreciated.
