The Christmas Edit: The Ultimate Guide To This Years Best Gifts!

Posted on the 14 December 2017 by Sparklesandstretchmarks @raine_fairy
Well I can hardly believe that a year has flown over so quickly but here we are in December, and with Christmas just around the corner I wanted to share with you some of the fantastic gift ideas that I've been lucky enough to get a sneak peek at this year!
There is something to suit every taste, every person and every budget so I hope you find something you like!
First things first, can we talk about these gorgeous personalised baubles from the Handmade Christmas Co?! How stunning are they?!
They offer such a huge selection of color and personalisation options, and each bauble comes individually boxed too - they are rather on the large side so make a really lovely little gift or addition to a gift, something to be treasured for years to come. Ideal for a new baby perhaps?
You can find them HERE, and the Handmade Christmas Co also sell a lovely selection of personalised Christmas sacks too...we bought ours from them last year and they're so lovely!
Something Practical:

If you're a fan of giving practical gifts then you can't go wrong with a high quality wooly hat for the winter months. This gorgeous gray ladies hat and adorable childrens multicoloured hat are available from www.Tiso.com for £27.00  and £23.00 respectively. The quality really is exceptional so these would make a lovely gift.
Something For The Kids:

A game always goes down well with the children in my life, and as long as you can check with the parents that they haven't already got it then its usually a popular choice with the whole family too.
My favorite this year is this Disney Guess The Film game. The object of the game is to take it in turns to roll the dice and reveal a little of the movie at a time until somebody is able to guess which Disney film it is!
This would make a fantastic for all Disney fans young or old, you can find it HERE

If you really fancy pushing the boat when buying for the child who has everything, why not consider a family gift in the form of a themed hotel visit?
This is something my own parents have done for my children on birthdays and special occasions in the past as rather than clutter up the house with more toys, they wanted to gift them an experience and memories they would treasure instead. Thomasland at Drayton Manor was always our hotel of choice but there are so many fantastic cartoon themed hotels across the UK and the rest of the world now that you'd honestly be spoiled for choice....take a look at Expedia's Hotel Edit for some inspiration!
For The Teens:

Or if you're buying for older children like I am, then why not consider the fantastic Lucky Voice Karaoke set?
Far cooler than your average karaoke kit, the Lucky Voice set comes complete with a stylish mic (We have the pink but you can also get gold, electric blue or even Christmas Jumper Print!) and mixing box...you simply connect it to a laptop or tablet, and you're good to go! It's updated weekly with the latest chart tracks too so it will keep them entertained year round!

The kits are priced from £60 (£70 for the Gold and Festive versions) and come in various colours, such as hot pink, gold, electric blue and a limited-edition Christmas Jumper printed mic. UK stockists include Amazon, Selfridges and Urban Outfitters.
For The Keen Traveller:

Or simply for those you're struggling to buy for, how about a gift card with a difference? Hotelgift offer a super funky gift card that you can load with cash to be used against the booking of any hotel on the Hotelgift website. With over 110,000 hotels worldwide to choose from, the lucky recipient will be spoiled for choice!
I can't think of any gift card I'd rather receive than this one!! The gift cards are super cute too, and are so easy to redeem!

For The Lady In Your Life:

If you want to buy something sentimental for the lady in your life this year, I can't recommend this stunning necklace from Maria Allen Boutique highly enough. It has fast become my favorite item of jewellery!
The stylish swallow and envelope necklace is pretty enough on its own, and it comes beautifully wrapped too, but the envelope also opens to reveal a printed photo card of your choice. This makes such a stunning gift for a mom or Grandma, or anybody really - something truly special.
You can find it HERE
Something Personal:

I'm a huge fan of personalised gifts, I think you're hard pushed to beat them and this beautiful wooden personalised notebook from Maria Allen Boutique is really something!
You can have it personalised however you wish but we chose to use it as a sort of travel journal to record the adventures we have with the boys, and I think it will be so special for them to look back on when they're older.
You can find it HERE

Another personalised item that you can't go wrong with is a nice mug or personalised cups for little ones....these ones are from the Instagram shop Cups Of Love and are so reasonably priced!
For The Foodies:

For the food fan, a new bit of cooking tech is always bound to be a surefire hit so why not gift them with this SuperFast Thermapen?
It gives accurate readings in just 3 seconds and is even waterproof, something thats sure to make cooking Christmas dinner this year so much easier!
You can find it HERE
For The Fashionista:

For the fashion fan in your family, does it get any more festive than these amazing Christmas themed nails from Elegant Touch?! There are so many festive designs to choose from and I couldn't possibly decide which I love most...they are simply MUST HAVES for any fashion conscious gal this season!
They're by Elegant Touch and are available from Boots.
