Yesterday I took part in my first Color Run. It was the most fun experience ever.
Clean ‘BEFORE’ photo
The Color Run is known as the happiest 5km on the planet. It is a fun run that celebrates healthiness, happiness and individuality.
It is a five kilometre, un-timed race in which participants are covered with a different color each kilometer. At the finish line there is a massive ‘finish festival’, much like a party and involving lots more color.
The Color Run held it’s debut event in January of 2012 and grew from over 50 events and 600,000 participants in 2012, to over 100 events and over a million participants in 2013.
Sydney’s Color Run was at Centennial Park.
It is a one of a kind experience that is less about speed and more about enjoying a color crazy day with your friends and family.
RACE RULES
Rule #1 All participants are welcome… fast, slow, runner, walker, old, and young.
Rule #2 White shirt dress code at the official start line and ready to roll no later than 9am sharp!
Rule #3 Get completely covered in crazy coloured goodness at the finish festival.
The end ‘VERY COLOURFUL’ result
The Swisse Color Run partnered with the Celebrate Life Foundation and Cure For Life Foundation as its joint major charity partner in Sydney.
