The Fame Game

Hey guys,
I wanted to talk about something that not necessarily concerns me but more annoys me. This thing is what is known as the fame game, where someone pursues fame. I often see this through YouTube where I come across comments asking how to get more subscribers. As I was often told "Good things come to those who wait" and not everything can be handed to you on a plate. A lot of things require hard work and YouTube happens to be one of those, if you work hard at your channel more people will notice you. I know sometimes it's a case of who you know but how did such and such meet these people. THROUGH HARD WORK. Even if recognition is not acquired straight away, you have to keep at it.
Don't give up after you're 100th video because you only have 10 subscribers, if you're content is good people will notice you. Wait for opportunity. In my case I've made some rubbish videos but I've learnt to take my time working on lighting and other things. Slowly, I am improving my YouTube channel- through hard work.
MONEY is another thing, it is easy for people to get greedy when it comes to YouTube. Most/some people see this as the easy option to getting a "job" whilst this may be the case in rare cases. The answer to most is this isn't the solution, you still have to go out and look for a job. Look at YouTube as a hobby not as a career unless you make a profit to which satisfies you. Some people are happy making £20 others are happy making other amounts.
What I'm trying to say is FAME happens to those who WORK, and fame isn't necessarily lots of money etc. It's what makes you happy, if people live in a world where all they seek is fame from YouTube, I ask are those people happy? Take for example candidate A and candidate B- Candidate A has made 500+ videos with a reasonable half a million subscribers and does what makes him happy. Whereas, candidate B has made 100 videos with 3 million subscribers and does what is required. Who is the happiest? That is down to you to be judged.
I can't provide all the answers but I'd say don't seek the fame game. Whatever happens will happen for a reason. You should go reach for your goals by all means, but take it at the cost you wish to take it. Don't get caught up in who and what you aren't.
Love,
