I am sitting here, watching a music documentary with my favorite person, my husband. The gas fireplace is going, keeping us toasty when the thermostat outside reads 20 degrees.
Right before we sat down, the fireplace was not working. Had we encountered this situation even six months ago, we would have fought and ended it by agreeing to contact a service professional, me grudgingly, my husband insistently.
