We're very much an outdoor sort of family. Don't get me wrong - we love our home, which is why we've invested so much time and money in to renovating it lately, but there's something about being outdoors that we love. Whether it's the refreshing fresh air that helps to clear our minds or the big wide open spaces that allow Ethan to run and burn off his energy. Being outdoors helps us to reset and to feel inspired.
It's been harder to get out and about lately. We've had to be at home whilst the loft conversion and room renovations have been going on and then the boys have both had chicken pox. But in between the chicken pox and when we've just HAD to escape from all of the noise and the chaos that home renovations bring, we've found ourselves enjoying more family walks as the weather has got warmer.
Lighthouse Clothing recently sent Ethan and I these gorgeous new raincoats which have tuned out to be perfect for the times that we've needed something to put on incase of a downpour of rain and when there has been a slight chill in the air. What I love about our new raincoats is that they're brightly coloured and they look fun, making them perfect for spring/summer time.
Ethan has the Skipper nautical raincoat which I can totally imagine Logan wearing too! Yep - I'm totally one of those Mums who likes to match her childrens clothes together!
I have the Fayda waterproof parka coat - I chose the color Watermelon as I love how bright it is, but it also comes in two other lovely colours - Night Sky and Seagrass.
In terms of quality they're fantastic coats with lots of detail on, even inside of the coats - which is something that I personally love.
We're off to the Lake District in two weeks time where you can pretty much guarantee that there will be some sort of rain - so we'll be packing our new Lighthouse coats with us and probably be getting lots more use out of them!
