I admit, I was a little nervous about doing this #TasteOff because I’ve always been a fan of both brands Yoplait and Chobani. Yoplait for the creaminess of their yogurts and Chobani for being the first Greek Yogurt I’ve ever tried.
When given the two yogurts he had no idea which one was what. He went back and forth between the two yogurts.
Right away with the Yoplait yogurt he could narrow down the descriptions: Much smoothier and Creamier. It tastes like regular yogurt.
He had to keep going back to the Chobani Yogurt to really come up with a description. Most being that the two yogurts were so different from one another, period. But, he felt the Chobani was more like a light yogurt where the Yoplait tasted more like regular yogurt.
But, in the end, Yoplait was his chosen yogurt.
As for myself. The thing that the Yoplait Greek Yogurt really made me realize was the flavor distinction between Yoplait and Chobani yogurts. Yes, the Yoplait is a much more flavorful yogurt with more bits of fruit inside.
What the #TasteOff really made me realize was the chalkiness of the Chobani Greek Yogurt. In the end, my heart went with Yoplait. I’m always drawn to sweeter things and Yoplait definitely captured that.
Have you tried out the two different Yogurts? You should definitely try out a #TasteOff yourselves. You may be surprised with the results.
