The Important Things in Life Don’t Cost a Thing.

Posted on the 23 April 2011 by Zen_sheila @BeZensational

Recently, in my city, a long time, well-known and much loved homeless man was brutally murdered and buried in someone’s backyard.  His name was Joe Kopp and by all accounts, he would never harm a fly; a man who actually saved $400 (from working odd jobs) to help other homeless in need; a man who did not even seek government assistance.

It was an amazing site to see the droves of people who came out to attend his funeral, as well as hear the accounts of local businesses and residents who were touched by him.

Today we visited one of several memorials, and I share with you the photos:

The important things in life don’t cost a thing.The important things in life don’t cost a thing.The important things in life don’t cost a thing.The important things in life don’t cost a thing.

For some moments in life there are no words.

A man with absolutely nothing — had everything;
everything important in this world, and was willing to share it.

Rest in Peace Joe Kopp.
It is amazing how one can touch so many.
