When done just right, I honestly think there's nothing more beautiful than black and red. It's elegant and classic with just a sprinkle of androgynous. This would be my picks to attend The Look Show 2012 courtesy of Next, as part of their contest on the Next Blogger Network. I'm sure you've noticed the little button for that in my sidebar before now - and if you're a blogger than I really do suggest you join. When I started thinking about an outfit, I mentally grabbed the lovely velvet dress from River Island's Chelsea Girl range. It's been winking at me for weeks. Of course, any excuse to wear my new KG by Kurt Geiger boots. I'll tell you all about the bargain these were tomorrow. The jacket is from Next, which I actually went searching for as part of this contest. Is it just me, or does it look really fluffy in that picture? It's not. I probably wouldn't have bought it before I had to actually go searching through Next for something but I loved it so much, I have actually gone out and bought it. It looks so lovely, and isn't as thin and flimsy as some of these sparkly jackets can be. The Jewellry and Bag are all things I already own, and are staff discount steals from River Island.
