The Mama Falls in Love…with the CA Wine Club.

As an grown-up, I’ve found lots of things that give me moments of joy and thrill me to the core. Those moments of sheer and total awesome when the world stand still and everything is right. Ya know. Total Calgon moments! There are truly not enough of those. Serious.

The other day, I came home and there was something magical waiting for me. Something that took my rough and tumble day from bleak to blissful in a flash of brilliant!

There are fewer things more fabulous than having wine delivered to your Home Sweet Home. That’s right folks envy me immensely, because I am sitting here sipping a Robledo Family Winery Tempranillo thanks to the California Wine Club. *sigh*

I love my life. Serious. LOVE. When I came returned home after a whole day of marketing properties and creating on-line marketing campaigns for my wicked amazing clients, I stumbled upon a discreetly awesome brown box on my doorstep. Imagine the delight rushing through me from my weary feets to the tips of my typed out fingers! (insert happy dance x2)

A box of bliss all of my own!!

Life is full of awesome but very rarely it is delivered to one’s doorstep. In truth, I may be a wine lover but shopping at the store often has me browsing the TJ’s wine aisles for neat looking labels or bugging Mr. Whistler the Wine Guy for his favorites which are always hit or miss. With the California Wine Club, I not only get to sample local wineries but they take my eye for art out of the equation! That’s right folks, sweet label doesn’t always equal yummy tasting wine. True facts. Sadly.

Inspired by the wines from the California Wine Club I made fresh veggies and a giant Tri Tip Roast on the grill. I coudn’t help but tweet the whole evening about the sheer joy of this…

When browsing their website for more information about how they make this lovely experience occur, all I could imagine was little wine elves harvesting the most appropriate selections for each boy and girl! There’s no naughty list, no nice list; there is just a list of pure awesome and joy for everyone! Seriously, this is helluva lot more fulfilling than wandering around the grocery store or the giant wine emporium staring at all those purdy bottles. Soooo many bottles!!!

Love the experience so far and can’t wait for more! I might have even bought an ungodly amount of fancy cheese to go with my selections…seriously, no I did.

Stay tuned for more on the awesome adventures with foods and of course wine!
