Today I'm joining in with a tag that has been featured on pretty much every blog I read!!!I was tagged by Louise at An Undomestic Goddess!1. Are you a Stay at Home Mum, or a Working Mum?Like Louise, I am also lucky enough to do both.I work from home as my blog and freelance writing along with my craft business (www.facebook.com/handmadebyhayleydevon) is now my job, so I get to do these things from home - which is ideal as I really wouldn't want to go out to work as I'd miss my Tiny Tot far too much!
2. Would you have it any other way?No. I have always wanted to be able to work from home and be my own boss, so this is ideal for me. I also dread the thought of having to put Tyne into childcare as - having worked in pretty much every kind of childcare setting going - I have never ever come across one that I would personally want to use, and this put me off childcare massively. I don't have family local who could look after Tyne so this would be a big problem should I never need to go back to work.
3. Do you co-sleep?
Partially. From the beginning Tyne always slept better if he was in with us and we loved co-sleeping with him. I know it scares a lot of people but trust me - I'd never have done it if I didnt feel it was safe! Tyne will still occasionally come in with us around 5 am, but its happening less often these days and I miss it.Next time around I will 100% be buying a cot that attaches to our bed so that we can co-sleep that way.
4. What is your one must-have item for your baby?Ooh its hard to narrow it down - the baby sleeping bags are a must have but I think I'd have to say the Angel Care breathing monitor is our absolute must have. It just gives me so much peace of mind!
5. How many kids do you plan on having?I used to want 4, but I think I`m leaning more towards 2 or possibly 3 now.
6. Date night? How many nights per month?Lol not very often! It used to be once a week when we lived in Liverpool as we had build in babysitters, but now its not been for about....oooh...3 months or so?!
7. Your childs favorite show?He LOVES Oliver on Baby TV - it's so cute, he recognises it as soon as the music plays and stops what hes doing to crawl over to the TV and just sits LAUGHING properly like he really understands what Oliver is doing and thinks its hysterical! It's so cute!!
8. Name one thing you bought before you had your baby and never ended up using?SO many things!!! The bath sponge you sit them on? We never needed it, I found it easier without. The various slings and baby carriers - neither us nor Tyne liked using them.The snugglbundl for after my c section and all of the c section belts etc - my recovery was fine and I had no pain so I didnt need to use any of them.There were endless things we bought and didnt use!
9. Your child’s favorite food?There's not much he doesnt like but I think rice is his favorite thing!
10. How many cars does your family have?Just the one - I own it but I dont have a license so Jon drives it lol.
11. Weight gain before pregnancy, during and after and now?I never weighed myself!
12. Dream holiday with your kids?Euro Disney! Or Lapland at Christmas!
13. Dream holiday without your kids?I'd say New York or LA but I wouldnt want to go on holiday without Tyne now - I just couldnt do it.
14. How has your life changed since your baby has been born?It's much more fun now! I can't remember how I filled my days before lol.
15. Finish the sentence: ‘It makes my heart melt to see … ‘Tyne learning new things every day and how excited he gets about them.
16. Where do you shop for your kids?Oh everywhere! lol. I love Mamas & Papas the most probably, but also Next, Mothercare & Tesco are high on the list!
17. Favourite makeup and skincare products?
My favorite make up is MAC Studio Fix foundation, and my HD Brows palette - as for Skincare I`m loving Uberface's Skin Brightening cream at the moment.
18. Huggies or Pampers?
Pampers - but Huggies for swim nappies. I do hate huggies wipes though, why do they just rip apart when you try to take them out the packet?!!! Johnsons all the way for wipes!!!
19. Have you always wanted kids?Yes, always.
20. Best part about being a mum?The slobbery kisses!!!!!
