I often sit wanting to hear music in my mind, the music of my soul
that tells me “Hey, Lady your alive, perk up and let’s go.”
It doesn’t matter if your clothes don’t fit, being able to breathe
is a sign that you’ve arrived.
To take on something new, to feel your being with kindness and creativity
Letting go of useless vanities, that begats more self absorb negativity.
Instead, I should not give thoughts like those a second chance.
I should get off myself, get up and dance.
