The Passionate Writer Complete Image 2Are you ready to be inspired to be a more passionate writer and blogger? The Passionate Writer is another inspirational series from the Let Your Words Flow Program.

The month of July will be filled with quotes, prompts and more for you to be even more passionate in your writing and blogging. Each day I will create a number of prompts for you to play with either now or in the future.

Whenever you feel like you need some extra ooomph for your writing, you can trust the Passionate Writer will be here for you.

If this is your first visit, you will want to visit our Let Your Words Flow Guide so that you will receive the most value from the life changing content you find here.

The key of these exercises is to just let your words float off your page. Don't think, don't edit, just let the words come off the end of your pencil or your fingers on the keyboard. You can do this! Your creativity - your writing - and your heart - will be grateful.

Now - on with today's inspiration -

 Quote:

"My thoughts fly in at your window, a flock of wild birds."

Sara Teasdale

Image Prompt:

I never thought I would use this particular image in a blog post so I am delighted to have the chance now. Did you notice the hammer holding the window up? This was taken at Emily Dickinson's home and that window is her bedroom window. I loved partnering the quote from one incredible poet to the home of another incredible poet. Perhaps that alone will inspire something from you. Write about windows, birds or thoughts in flight.  If your thoughts could fly, what might their destination be? Write about the journey -

What is outside your window right now? What do you think about when you look out your window and how does that relate to what you see there or hear there?

 Lists:

Make a list of 5 - 10 of your most frequently "thought about" topics.

For the second list, choose the most compelling memory and free write about it using the prompt, "I remember..."

 Conventional Prompts:

My thoughts remind me of.... because....

If I allowed my thoughts the room to roam and float through the air, I might discover....
