When I first heard mention of this list I thought to myself "oh no, not another list to compare toddlers by". As a rule I don't like lists especially those that try to standardise young childrens development as I am a firm believer they do everything in their own time. This, however, is not such a list, it is instead a collection of fun things to do with little ones and is packed full of fantastic ideas and humor. I have to say I think it is great and it has definitely given me a few ideas for things I want to do with Ben like grow cress in the shape of his name - a very clever and fun way to learn how to spell it.
So how many of these things has Ben, two years old, gotten around to doing to date, well the answer is quite a lot of them but this is by no means because I am a doing anything out of the way to tick them off. My approach with Ben is to have fun doing things everyday whether it be playing with toys, creative activities, getting muddy outside or just joining in with normal chores about the house such as the washing up, cooking or battling with me over the vacuum cleaner. Turns out just doing normal things helps you tick off most of the things on the list.
So here you go, this is the magic list of things to do before your toddlers turns three. Enjoy and I hope you are as lucky as me not to have encountered number 24 yet..
