The Power Of Positive Thinking

I am feeling a little low. My right arm, which is injured, unexpectedly got worse yesterday and the medication – antibiotics and painkillers are playing havoc with my system. This morning I woke up to a very-swollen arm. First, I laughed at the sight. Then, remembering it is my arm,  I sobered up. The ice-cold water from the tap helped. I froze, arm mid-way between the running water and my mouth. Ask me why.  My hand did not reach my mouth because of the swelling.

I progressively became more and more alarmed because I don’t want it to get worse..and went to my regular doc. He took one look at it and asked what I had applied. Surprise surprise. I am allergic to betadine this time around. Who knew? Anyway,  I can now stop the painkiller and antibiotic and take only an antihistamine (whew! what a mouthful….and a tummyfull!). I’ve also been prescribed a topical cream – to apply on the crazy arm. Reassured, I returned home.

A positive attitude always works for me. I decided, I would share a quote on positive thinking with you. And dear friends, at the end of the post, I’ve got a free  download for you. Clicking that link lets you directly download the book. Yes. I found it recently and signed up, because it seemed like a grand idea to be able to offer you’all something really nice.

Positive Thinking

On this note, I would like to share a fabulous post by Farnoosh Brock of Prolific Living that I simply adore. Please do read: The Power of Positive Thinking – 22 thoughts to change your life.  It is full of affirmations that will help brighten up your day.

Besides solid encouragement and great resources, Farnoosh also offers a free 21-step confidence building email course – check it out. I really loved it.

And, I would like to share one more gem with you – from a beautiful post titled “On being who I am” written by my friend Terri Sonoda -her powerful words touched my soul.

Positive Thinking

If that is not positive thinking, I want to know what is.

And now, the book download. (No sign up required).

Title: Abundant Thinking
Click the title to download the book in pdf form.  This book is about creating a mindset of positive values so you perceive your life as one full of abundance, not one of lack.

Reminder: In my previous post, “Paradise Found” I mentioned that my friend Joy of Facets of Joy was kind enough to offer me the privilege of gifting her beautiful course, “Gift of Presence: Musings at Sunset“, a 21-day self-study ecourse, a $15 value,  to two of my readers. During the course, you will receive  a daily email with a sunset photo and a heart whisper. Joy weaves energetic intention through each message. Please see more details at Gift of Presence: Musings at Sunset – and if you would like this gift from Joy through me, please let me know in the comments, or via email at vidya at vidyasury dot com

Happy February. Don’t forget to say your “I love you”s
