There’s something so beautiful about seeing a friend from high school grow up to be not only a wife, but a mommy. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve seen my dear friend Liz, but now she’s all grown up and has a beautiful family. Though she lives many states away now, her family vacationed recently in Jacksonville Beach, and she had Stephen and I take some family photos for her now that her little Henry is turning 1-year-old. Despite an ear infection and lots of drizzling rain, we were able to get a lot of laughs out of her sweet boy. Mostly from his dad doing the hokey pokey… and he turned himself around. That’s what it’s all about. I hope when Henry grows up and looks at these photos, that he never lets his dad live down that moment. For now though, those photos particular photos of his daddy doing the Hokey Pokey will remain for their eyes only.
