i think i want to live in this tree. it’s not the strongest or fullest or tallest tree in the wood, but boy does it have spirit. i could see myself sitting on one of the top branches, letting my legs swing in the height while the wind whistles through my hair. i would watch as the world worked below me and stare at the greatness above. it would be me and the tree; the tree and me. you, my dear, are of course invited. please do let me know if you’re interested.
in the meantime, i think i’ll begin to climb.
