The Twisted Bikini: SHAPE’s Bikini Countdown Series, April

Hey guys!

You all had some of the nicest comments I think I’ve ever gotten on my big reveal post. So I’m keepin’ y’all positively bikini minded by going over my fitness plans this spring.

But Maren, you said you aren’t going to try and lose weight to get ready for Bikini Season this year!!!!

It’s true. I’m not. I’m trying to make the body I have right now amazing. Part of that is toning up!.

Every Spring SHAPE Magazine publishes a series of circuits to help you look like exactly 1 million 6 hundred-thousand bucks. So I decided this year I’d do them to help get my curves into the curve-alicious category for beach season. I plan to proudly flaunt all my curves this summer and I want them lookin’ their best.

Here’s the circuit directly out of April’s SHAPE Magazine.

Boy does this circuit look easy but don’t let it fool you! I’m shaking like a leaf by the end. I especially loath the High-Kick Dip. Uggg.

This is the circuit for April. Then in the May and June issues of the magazine they will publish a new circuit that is a little harder. By the time July comes around the beaches will be calling my name for sure.

I do the circuit as the magazine recommends, 3 times a week paired with 4 cardio sessions of 30 minutes (or more) a week.

I’ve already done this series for a week and I can tell I’m getting so much stronger. I LOVE it!
