Me and my partner, we've been together for almost 13 years now and, during this very long period we've only been apart for 2 months. Those two horribly long months taught us that we cannot properly function when we have distance between us and so, we've concluded that we should avoid any unnecessary separations that might eventually occur. We've managed to stick with this resolution for 3 years now, unfortunately now we are again facing an inevitable separation.
Wednesday he will hop on a place to romantic Rome where he will stay for two weeks at his son's house, enjoying the charming companionship of his 3 year old grand daughter, Sophie. I shall remain home alone enjoying my solitude, trying to write as much as I can and ...counting the minutes.
