The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry….Rachel Joyce

You may or may not have seen this book in local book stores such as W H Smith but I 100% advise you read it. It’s a lovely, lovely book and it’s hard to put down. It took me three days to read it and that’s a short time for me considering I have to fit a lot of others things in my days. From the first page I simply couldn’t put it down. It’s a story about a man named Harold Fry who has retired, and one day receives a letter from a good friend bearing some bad news. The book shares his tiring but exciting journey of 627 miles from Kingsbridge to Berwick-Upon-Tweed and takes the reader along too. Something happens right at the end which I definitely did not see coming, and admittedly it made me cry. The book would have been brilliant without it but it made it just that bit more emotive…or a lot more in my case!

So please, do read this book!
