The Weekly Musing - May WeekThree

via Sofia's JournalChloe Green, the TopShop heiress launched her shoe collection this week, and loads of her designs appear to have sold out already. The only word that comes to mind from this is why?! For me, Miss Green is another one of these celebrities that I keep having to remind myself why they are famous in the first place. Think Kim Kardashian. As for her shoe collection, they appear to be designed for midgets, as most of the heels are 5 if not 6 inches high. Wowza. Also, her trade mark are her turquoise green soles, a la Louboutin and his trademark red. This, more than anything makes them scream "trying too hard." Also, prices start from £115. Excuse me if I don't go on a wild shopping spree.

Diary of a Sales AssistantThis week's top stupidest moments.

1. Customer in Ryman Stationers. "Do you have any Jeffrey Archer books?" Erm, no. "Oh, what about Stephen King then?" No, we're a stationary store. "So you don't sell books at all?!"
2. Customer in River Island. "I bought these shoes about a year ago, I've lost the receipt but they're really worn out and falling apart. I want to exchange them for a new pair, shall I just take them off the shelf over there?" Funnily enough... no, no you can't.
3. Me in Ryman Stationers. "Crap! I've broken the fax machine! It's not receiving anything." One Hour Later. "Oh, it's erm. Out of paper..."
4. Customer in River Island. "Where are all your bras please?" We don't sell lingerie I'm afraid... "Are you new?! I saw them on your website. Are you telling me you don't stock any bras at all?!" What website was this? "The NEXT website of course!" Yeeaaah, Next is the next shop down on the left.
This Week's Web Browsing

Already being dubbed as her best dress since the royal wedding, Kate Middleton's beautiful Jenny Packham dress is taking everyone by storm at the London Olympic Gala. The lace back was really the best bit in my opinion.Sourced from Glamour
How seriously do you take advertising campaigns? Surely we can all acknowledge that companies will say almost anything to get some money out of you. Well, apparently all those "Nutella is a healthy way to start the day" adverts are lawsuit worthy after one mother realised she'd been feeding her family a 200calories per slice breakfast spread and felt duped. Errm, okay then.

I've had a pretty full week myself. The gardens at my home were open to the public for charity and we raised over £800 for a local children's hospice, which was fantastic. I neglected a certain Wisdom tooth and had it 'extracted' yesterday morning. Honestly, never had anything more painful happen to me I swear to god. I'm on the road to recovery however, so all's well in the end. I hope you have all had a less painful week, and enjoy your weekend!
